1. Data we collect
Identifiers: a device or app-generated user ID used to provide app functionality and manage service limits.
App settings: selected nationality, travel country, language settings, saved requests, and related preferences.
Usage data and diagnostics: app interactions, feature usage, crash data, and performance data used to improve stability and user experience.
2. Menu photos and translations
Camera and photo library access are used only when you take or choose a menu photo for translation.
Menu photos may be sent to AI or translation processing services to produce the result you requested.
Photos are not intended to be stored as a public gallery or permanent profile content.
3. Location and region signals
Tabero does not collect precise GPS location through this website.
The app may use selected travel country, device locale, SIM or coarse country signals, or store/platform region information to choose useful defaults and meet platform requirements.
4. How we use data
To provide menu recognition, dish explanation, translation, saved requests, and order-card functionality.
To maintain service limits, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, and improve app quality.
To display ads or measure app performance when supported third-party services are enabled.
5. Third-party services
AI and translation providers may process menu images and extracted text only to produce translation results.
Analytics, crash reporting, advertising, database, and infrastructure providers may process limited technical data according to their own policies.
Tabero uses HTTPS for network communication and aims to minimize the data sent to third parties.
6. Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
Server-side identifiers, usage counters, and operational records are kept only as long as needed for service operation, security, legal, or accounting purposes.
You can request deletion of server-side data by emailing indiveloper@gmail.com.
7. Safety note
Tabero translations can help with ordering, but they are not medical or allergy advice.
For severe allergies, religious restrictions, pregnancy-related restrictions, medication interactions, or other critical dietary limits, confirm directly with restaurant staff before ordering.
